SOPRANO Design Launches Authenticator 2.0

SOPRANO Authenticator uses SMS based tokens to provide enterprises, their staff and clients with an additional layer of security for online transactions and remote access to their enterprise infrastructure, whilst reducing the logistics and overhead costs associated with the purchase and maintenance of physical hardware tokens.


SOPRANO Authenticator utlises the ubiquity of mobile handsets to deliver one time passwords via SMS. This eliminates the need for physical tokens, reducing overheads, increasing operational efficiency and ensuring that staff and clients always have secure online access. The innovative solution is ideal for internet banking services, providing secure access to online IT systems, business continuity planning and enabling remote and mobile work forces.


Delivered as a hosted service, SOPRANO Authenticator has been enhanced with open API's and interfaces to allow simple integration with existing AAA systems and user databases. The solution now also provides management with delivery and access controls, real time reporting and flexible configuration. This enables the solution to be tailored and managed in house, promoting more efficient, cost effective business processes and eliminating further development spend to customise functionality.
