SOPRANO Design Joins IBM's ISV Advantage Initiative to Help SMB Customers in Media and Communications Industry

Companies to Offer Open, e-business on Demand Solutions

Soprano Design Pty Ltd, a mobile messaging and wireless application infrastructure provider, has joined IBM's ISV Advantage Initiative, a program designed to provide independent software vendors (ISVs) with technical and marketing support to help meet the specific information technology needs of small and medium business (SMB) companies. Customers are seeking solutions that help them better integrate processes and applications internally and externally and allow them to quickly respond to changing market opportunities on demand.

Soprano Design provides its SOPRANO Corporate Gateway Platform (CGP) to provide mobile messaging and wireless application infrastructure. SMB applications can then use 2-way SMS and MMS to improve customer and employee services. Soprano Design ready solutions include Campaign Manager, Desktop SMS, Appointment Reminder, Remind and Pay, Rapid Staff Replacement, Mobile Ticketing and Mobile Banking. These solutions allow SMB customers to improve customer and employee contact by leveraging the interactive and personal delivery of information to mobile devices.

Enabling SOPRANO CGP on IBM's DB2 and Websphere on Linux will help Soprano Design expand into the SMB market faster and more effectively than is possible with proprietary platforms.
