The Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) announced at its annual gala dinner that SOPRANO Mobile Enterprise Messaging Suite (MEMS) by SOPRANO Design Pty Ltd is a National iAwards Merit Award recipient in the category of communications.

AIIA chief executive, Ian Birks, said the event showcased the depth of talent emerging across that Australian industry and described the award winners as “a fantastic example” of what ICT could offer the community.

As one of the premier awards program for the technology industry, the iAwards is the only truly international ICT awards ceremony in Australia. SOPRANO will now go on to represent the nation at the 2010 Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards, competing in Malaysia against the best technology solutions in the region.
Winners were on announced on the 5th of August at a gala dinner held in Melbourne attended by over 1000 leading members of the Australian ICT community.
