What is Mobile World Congress?
Mobile World Congress is the world’s biggest mobile communications event. Each year, it brings together thousands of network operators, device manufacturers and tech leaders to discuss the latest trends shaping the mobile space.
Mobile World Congress – also known as MWC – is organised by the GSMA, a member-led organisation that represents the mobile industry and drives global initiatives in connectivity, innovation and policy.
Where is MWC25?
This year’s event – MWC25 – will take place in Barcelona, Spain, a city that has been the event’s home for nearly two decades.
The event is hosted at Fira Gran Via, a huge exhibition and conference centre designed to accommodate the thousands of attendees, exhibitors, and speakers who flock to MWC each year.
While Mobile World Congress events are also held in Shanghai, Las Vegas, and Kigali, the Barcelona edition is the flagship event, attracting the largest audience and the most significant industry announcements.
When is MWC25?
MWC25 will take place over four days from 3-6 March 2025.
Although the main event runs from Monday to Thursday, the excitement often starts earlier, with pre-show announcements, exclusive media briefings, and private networking events taking place in the days leading up to MWC.
